Seeking Youth Soccer (SYS) is a non-profit community based youth soccer organization. Our mission is to help develop our community’s youth through an enjoyable experience centered around the game of soccer. We belive that soccer can be used to assist in character development through good sportsmanship and teamwork and promoting healthy lifestyles through physical fitness and organized activities.
As a 100% volunteer based organization, we are truly a community driven organization. Working with children ages 5 and up, we have a number of opportunities for recreational enjoyment and competitive play at most levels.

Recent Updates (September, 2016)
Challenger Program for U6 and U8 boys and girls begins this at the fields. As previously mentioned, there will be a double session on Fridays with two trainers running simultaneous sessions. Times are as follows...

U6 players will practice on the softball field. U8 players will practice on available space on either Field 4A or 4B. We would encourage players to participate and practice as teams, but if you're child's team does not practice on Fridays you are welcome to partake of either session in addition to your normal practice. Children should be dressed to play with shin guards, cleats or sneakers, a ball, and a water or sports drink. Children should bring their ball to each and every practice. SYS uniforms are not required for practice and should be reserved for game day.
If you are unsure which time slot you should attend, please consult with your coach.
Uniforms & Apparel
We have re-stocked our sold out uniform items. We now have limited availability of Adult L and XL reversible jerseys as well as children's socks. These items will be available for purchase at the shed to anyone in need on a first-come, first-serve basis along with our Seekonk Youth Soccer promotional apparel items. Reversible jerseys are $20 and socks are $4.
September Board Meeting Cancelled: Due to scheduling issues and open house events at local schools, our September SYS Board Meeting has been cancelled. We will meet next on Monday, October 3rd at the Aitken School.
Picture Day Scheduled: Seekonk Soccer will be hosting Pictures Day with New England Sports Photo, Inc. on Saturday, September 24th. Game and photography schedules are still being developed and will be posted via email and on the SYS web site as soon as possible. Coaches will be provided with picture forms for each player and will hand them out at the conclusion of their games. Parents should make sure they have photo forms before leaving the field .
Team and individual player photos will scheduled to take place immediately before scheduled games. To expedite the process, an online ordering system has been established for families wishing to select their photo packages and submit payment prior to Setember 24th.

Please note that paper ordering forms for those wishing to pay for photography packages with checks will also be distributed to your children's coaches in the coming weeks.
We currently have a board position open. Some positions only require a few hours of your time each month and others are more involved. If you are thinking you can help out, please stop in to one of our monthly meetings and we can discuss these opportunities in more detail.

- Referee Director
Responsible for developing skills of new referees, assist with training, and complete weekly schedules in-season for recreational and local travel games.
Reminder: Seekonk Youth Soccer is 100% volunteer driven. Without volunteers we cannot possibly support all of the great programs we offer all year long.
All are welcome to attend Seekonk Youth Soccer board meetings. All meetings are be held on the first Monday of every month at the Aitken Elementary School at 7 pm. If the Monday our meeting is scheduled is a holiday, it will be held the following Monday.
If you have something you would like the board to discuss or review, please submit it no less than one week prior to the meeting so it can be added our agenda. Meeting agenda items can be directed to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Complaints or Concerns?
All complaints or concerns regarding the soccer program should be directed to the President of the league via email email@example.com or other writing. The complaint/concern will be taken under advisement by the Board of Directors and be added to the agenda at the next Board Meeting. The author of the Complaint/Concern will be advised of the next meeting date and asked to appear if it is deemed necessary for additional comment. The issue will be reviewed and comments discussed at the Board meeting. Following the regular session, the Executive Board will vote to take any action on the Complaint. The President will communicate in writing any decisions to the author of the complaint following the meeting.
