Welcome to the Seekonk Youth Soccer Website

FALL REC SOCCER registration now open <--Click Here

We are now accepting registrations for the Fall 2013 soccer program.  Open registration will close on June 30th.  July 1 -15th players will be placed on a waiting list.  They will be relased only if there is room on a team.  NO registrations will be accepted after July 15th with the exception of new residents in town. The program is for players that are 4 1/2 and older.  Click on the above link and register now.  The program will start on September 7 and final games will be held on Nov 2.  Fee is $65 per player.

Game and practice times are TBD based on how many kids/teams we have this season.

All U-13 and above players will be placed on the waiting list to be sure we have enough players to run the recreational program.  Once there are enough players registered they will be released and payment can be made.

If you volunteer when registering your child - Every volunteer for the Seekonk Youth Soccer league must complete and pass a CORI check and complete the free concussion course online BEFORE they can be considered to coach or assistant coach.  We can not accept volunteers, coaches, asst. coachs, etc. until they have passed a CORI check and passed the concussion course.  We will select our coaches/asst coaches from those who have submitted the proper paperwork.  Please be sure to fill out a CORI form for the town for each season. Click Here--> CORI.  Click Here ---> Concussion course.  Please print this form and complete.  Forms must be returned to the team assignor along with a copy of your license atleast 3 weeks prior to the start of the season.  Completed CORI forms and Concussion Course certificate can be mailed to Seekonk Soccer, P.O. Box 411, Seekonk, MA 02771.  If you need to contact the team assignor - Click Here

LEAGUE POSITION OPEN

Just a Little Soccer Boy

He runs toward the goal with his heart pounding fast.

Dribbling the ball and hoping to make it past.

Mom and Dad cannot help him, he moves all alone.

A goal at this moment would send the other team home.

The ball meets his foot; he kicks and it misses.

There is a groan from the crowd, with some boos and some hisses.

A thoughtless voice cries,, "Take out the bum."

Tears fill his eyes; the game's no longer fun.

So open your heart and give him a break.

For it's moments like this, a man you can make.

Keep this in mind when you hear someone forget.

He's just a little boy and not a man yet.
