Fall Recreational Soccer

Registration

This will bring you to our Adminsports website where you can register your child(ren) for our program.  Please send our registrar an e-mail if you have any questions

Where and when are the Fall games played?
Games are played on Saturdays at our Cole Street Fields.

How many games does each team play?
Each team normally plays 8 games, but sometimes due to inclement weather, the number of games may be reduced.

Where and when are Fall practices?
Your child's coach will manage each practice session and will provide you the details on where and when your child's practices will be held.

What equipment do I need to provide for my child?
You will need to provide your child with shin guards (shin guards are mandatory) with soccer socks worn over the shin guards.  A water bottle or other drink . You will also need to provide you child with a soccer ball.  Size 3 for U-5 to U-8, Size 4 for U-9 to U12 and Size 5 for U-13 and up.  During practice sessions your child's coach will run activities that require all children to have their own soccer ball.  We also recommend that you provide your child with soccer cleats.  Soccer cleats will provide your child with the proper footing so that your child does not slip on the grass. NO Jewelery - All earrings, bracelets and necklaces must be removed including silly bands.

What is the SYS soccer uniform and how can I get one?
We use a reversible white/blue Seekonk Soccer jersey, blue soccer shorts and blue soccer socks.  We will have items for sale at the tent prior to the start of the season.  We will send an email with times and dates.

How do I volunteer to coach / assistant coach?
When you are registering your child there is a box you can check that says I would like to coach or assistant coach.  We will contact you mid August to confirm you have volunteered.

How can I help?
There are many things you can do to help such as being a team manager, help with telephone calls, assistant coach, help with opening day or closing ceremonies, etc.

Can I request that my child be placed on a specific team?
We get so many requests for coaches & teammates yearly. We will try to accommodate as we can.  We need to be sure the teams are divided fairly.  As the league continues to grow so do the requests, and at this point we can no longer manage all requests and still meet our deadline for forming teams.  We will do our best.
