2008 SYS Spring Clinic

 

 

Does this replace the Spring Recreational League?  Yes, we are shifting the emphasis on players from       

just kicking the ball around to professional instruction in foot skills, including ball control, passing,              

shooting, and defending.  The goal of this clinic is to teach our children the technical skills before they can         

develop bad habits.  The clinic is two weeks shorter than the old program but the instruction each child will

receive is many more times the old format.

Equipment:  Players need to bring;

 

1- Shin guards,

2- Size 3 soccer ball,

3- Water bottle. 

4- Cleats are optional but recommended

 

                                                    

 

 

            The Schedule (updated May 9th);

 

                All Clinics are held at our home field, Cole St. (adjacent to Martin School)

 

             U-6: U-6 will participate between 4:15PM-5:30PM, Tuesdays.

 

             U-8: U-8 will participate between 4:15PM-5:30PM, Thursdays.

 
 

Week One- U6 April 15th, U8 April 17th
  April School vacation week.
  Week Two- U6 April 29th RESCHEDULED MAY 17TH, U8 May 1st
  Week Three- U6 May 6th, U8 May 8th
  Week Four- U6 May 13th, U8 May 15th
  Week Five- U6 May 20th, U8 May 22nd
  Memorial Day Weekend.
  Week Six- U6 May 27th, U8 May 29th
 

Graduation- May 31st 10AM, Awards ceremonies run by parents.
